What is the AI DJ?
The AI DJ takes control of your player to guide you through the best moments of a podcast episode.
You can think of it as a personal moderator — it takes control of your player, skips to the most valuable moments, plays them, and bridges the moments with short spoken introductions so you never lose context.
With the AI DJ, you can experience the highlights of an episode in roughly 1/4 of the original listening time. That means you can listen to about 4x as many episodes.
This is not a summary!
You are still listening to the original podcast and hearing the voices, intonations, and stories that make podcasts great. The AI DJ simply helps you jump to the most valuable moments and guides you through them.
How to use the AI DJ
Start playing an episode — Open any English podcast episode that has been processed by AI.
Tap the DJ button — You'll find it next to the "Create Snip" button in the player.
That's it — DJ mode is now active. Sit back and let the AI DJ guide you through the best moments.
To exit DJ mode — Tap the same DJ button again to return to normal playback.

English podcasts only — The AI DJ is currently available for English-language podcasts only.
FAQ
How much time do I save with the AI DJ?
The AI DJ typically covers about 1/4 of the original episode. So a 60-minute episode would take roughly 15 minutes and you would save around 75% of your time. In other words, you can listen to around 4x as many podcasts.
How does the AI DJ decide which moments to focus on?
The AI DJ is designed to select the moments covering the core insights and most valuable moments of an episode. You should walk away having heard the key takeaways.
Can I still listen to the full episode?
Absolutely. The AI DJ is an optional feature designed for those episodes that you would otherwise not get around to. For your favourite listens, you can keep listening to the full episode. And we encourage you to do that.
Is the AI DJ available for all podcasts?
The AI DJ is currently available for all English-language podcasts. It is also available for any English-language audio content you have uploaded to your Snipd account, such as audiobooks, Youtube videos, or recordings.
Will the AI DJ be available in other languages?
We plan to support more languages for AI DJ in the future. All of our other AI features like snipping, mentioned books, and chat work for 26 languages. See here.
