What You Can Do

The Snipd Apple Watch app works independently from your iPhone, so you can enjoy podcasts during runs, workouts, or anytime you leave your phone behind. It's free for all users. Features include:

  • Listen to podcasts directly from your watch

  • Create snips (saved audio highlights of key moments) from your wrist

  • Access your latest 100 queued episodes

  • Download episodes for offline listening

Installation

The Snipd Watch app installs automatically. If you can't find the Snipd app on your Apple watch do the following steps:

  1. Make sure your watchOS is up to date

  2. Open the Watch app on your iPhone

  3. Install Snipd manually from the available app

Syncing & Offline Playback

  • Your queue syncs automatically between your watch and phone

  • Download episodes for offline listening by swiping right on the Now Playing screen

  • Downloaded episodes ensure smoother playback experience

  • Your listening progress syncs whenever your watch connects to your phone

How to Create Snips

You can save podcast moments in two ways:

  • Tap the "Create Snip" button on the Now Playing screen

  • Use your headphone controls (triple-tap is the default gesture)

Your snips will sync when you next open the iPhone app

Tips for Best Experience

  • Avoid using the watch and iPhone apps simultaneously

  • Chapter navigation is available for your first 10 queued episodes

  • Episodes must be downloaded manually on the watch
