Create Snips with CarPlay

Auto-Snipping

Snipd's AI automatically creates snips of key moments in your podcasts while you're listening. You don't need to do anything. Just let the AI do the work.

Creating Snips Using Your Steering Wheel

Press the skip back ⏮️ button to create a snip. Our AI then identifies the right segment of the episode and writes a perfect note for you about it. This is the safest way to capture insights while driving.

Note: Your headphone gesture settings apply to car controls. That means that if you changed the default configuration, you may need to use the skip forward button to create snips instead. See more here.

Create Snips from the Touchscreen

If your steering wheel doesn't have a skip backwards button, you can create snips using the touchscreen:

1. Player screen: Tap the Snipd button

2. Queue screen: Tap the "Create snip" button below the currently playing episode.

Reviewing your Snips

All snips you created are stored in your Snips library, where you can review and edit them later in the app.
